ADVERTISING RATES

The following rates for display advertising in our publications are valid unitl 31 December 2013.

All rates are per insertion and include GST. For example, if you book 2 full page colour adverts in Australasian Dental Practice, then the rate is $2390 per edition x 2 editions = $4780 inc GST.

Unless a special position is booked (see below), all full page adverts appear on a right hand page (a left hand page can be specifically requested at no additional cost). Smaller sizes will be placed at the publisher's discretion.

COVERS AND SPECIAL POSITIONS
The above rates apply to placement of adverts run of book at the publisher's descretion. Requests for placement within special features or specific sections of the publications will be accommodated where possible without charge. Loadings apply to book the following special positions (NB: Availability is very limited and many long-standing bookings are in place):

• Front Cover (Plus the first right hand full page advert)
• Inside Front Cover - full page (available in Auxiliary and eLABORATE only)
• Opening Spread No 1 (pages 2 and 3) - double page spread
• Opening Spread No 2 (pages 4 and 5) - double page spread

ADDRESS SHEET (CARRIER/FLY SHEET)
Our publications are plastic wrapped for mailing. In addition to the magazines and the inserts, the package also includes an address sheet (also called a carrier sheet or fly sheet) which offers excellent exposure. Apart from the delivery address and other required information, this sheet includes a 135 x 135mm area for advertising. Six different combinations are mailed using four different address sheets as follows:

Address Sheet 1 (Clinicians) - Used in: Main Pack for Australia (plus International distribution) - Includes Australasian Dental Practice, Auxiliary, eLABORATE and any inserts Auxiliary for Australia (plus International distribution) - Includes Auxiliary and any inserts Address Sheet 2 (Prosthetists and Technicians) - Used in: eLABORATE for Australia (plus International distribution) - Includes eLABORATE and any inserts Address Sheet 3 (Clinicians) - Used in: Main Pack for New Zealand - Includes Australasian Dental Practice, Auxiliary, eLABORATE and any inserts Auxiliary for New Zealand - Includes Auxiliary and any inserts Address Sheet 4 (Prosthetists and Technicians) - Used in: eLABORATE for New Zealand - Includes eLABORATE and any inserts

Pricing is on application and dependent on whether a single sheet or combination is selected and whether the run is for a single or multiple editions.

INSERTS
Printed matter such as brochures, flyers, booklets, etc can be loosely inserted into our publications. The cost of inserts is based on the weight of each individual item that will be inserted (NB: this is different to the weight of the stock your brochure is printed on which may, for example, be 150 gsm).

The prices for inserts are as follows:

• $880 inc GST for Inserts weighing 1-10 grams per article - This is typically the weight of a single A4 page printed on 150 gsm gloss art paper (it can be single or double sided).
• $1100 inc GST for inserts weighing 11-20 grams per article - This is typically the weight of an A3 page folded to A4 on 150 gsm gloss art paper.
• $1650 inc GST for inserts weighing 21-30 grams per article - This is typically for multipage brochures or brochures printed on heavier stock weights.
• Inserts heavier than 30 grams are negotiable and need to be booked as early as possible.

Space for inserts is subject to availability as weight restrictions apply under our distribution arrangements with Australia Post. Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis for each edition. Please advise of the weight of your insert at time of booking. Any insert booked at a lighter weight will be charged based on the actual weight of the inserts when delivered to our offices. If an insert is heavier than the weight it has been booked at, it it may need to be held over to a subsequent edition if it causes the mailing to exceed the maximum weight ceiling.

NOTE ON SIZING: Our publications are 200mm wide x 270mm deep, i.e. slightly smaller than A4. A4 sized inserts are accepted, however they extend outside the trim of the magazine and the edges may become distressed in transit.

DELIVERY: If we are not printing your inserts, after booking, please deliver the printed matter to Main Street Publishing Pty Ltd, 205 West Street, Crows Nest NSW 2065, Australia.

ONSERTS
Printed matter, samples and other "objects" can be attached to the magazine as an onsert. Weight and size restrictions apply to ensure we comply with Australia Post guidelines, however, we do have "creative" solutions to cover the majority of requests. Prices for onserts are on application. As a guide, to onsert a sample (assuming it complies with our size and weight restrictions), advertising space to attached the onsert to and an insert must be booked, plus there is a charge to attach the sample onto the advert.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
All special requests for gatefolds, cover wraps, etc, will be considered on their merit and costings supplied based on individual requirements.

BILLING
Advertising is billed on publication. An invoice and a copy of the magazine will be sent to your nominated mailing address on publication. We accept payment by cheque, direct deposit or credit card (American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard or Visa) without a surcharge. Account details for direct deposits are included on the invoice as are facilities for credit card payment. As a courtesy, we ask that payments of accounts with credit cards be made as soon as possible after receipt of the invoice.

All advertising accounts must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date.
