Over 100 people attended a cocktail party marking the grand opening of A-dec Australia's modern new showroom at Ricketty Street, Mascot.
Included amongst the guests were the heads of the Australian Dental Industry Association, Dental Assistants Association, health funds, universities, NSW Health and a large number of private dentists. Also attending were A-dec's worldwide Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Wayne Aho, and Director of International Sales, Hank Poertner, from the parent company in Newberg, USA; together with A-dec Australia dealers, territory managers and partner supply company representatives from throughout Australia and New Zealand.
A-dec Australia General Manager, Craig Young, thanked the large gathering and said he hoped the new A-dec showroom would encourage more dental practitioners to visit A-dec Australia to see firsthand the latest advances in dental equipment. He said the showroom had been set up as a series of 'model surgeries' highlighting the complete surgery solutions available from A-dec Australia.
The model surgeries display the most popular models of A-dec equipment, including A-dec chair-mounted systems and the unique wall-mount and 12 o'clock delivery systems complete with A-dec Preference cabinetry in a simulated working environment.
The large showroom also includes the Preference ICC (Infection Control Centre) and ancillary equipment including the latest Lisa sterilizers and handpieces from W&H, Acteon intraoral cameras, Sopix x-ray equipment, EMS scalers and prophy systems and Jun-Air compressors.
The new A-dec Australia headquarters is much larger than the old Alexandria premises and includes a massive 2400 square metre warehouse, offices, training rooms, staff and visitor amenities and in-house service facilities.
The showroom is close to Sydney airport and easily accessible with vehicular access on two sides with the added advantage of ample visitor parking right outside the showroom.
A-dec Australia's new showroom and corporate headquarters is located at 5-9 Ricketty Street, Mascot (between Canal Road and Gardners Road).
