A-dec Australia appoints new General Manager

A-dec Australia has appointed Mr Patrick Jones to the position of General Manager for A-dec in Australia, effective 1 July 2015.

Mr Jones replaces former General Manager, Craig Young, who has been elevated to Director of international Sales - Asia, Pacific Rim & Latin America. Mr Jones commenced his career in the health industry as a Registered Nurse at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before moving into the commercial field with medical supplier, Becton Dickinson. He has extensive experience in the Medical/Dental industry having worked in Sales and Management at 3M Unitek, Cordis Corporation (a Johnson & Johnson Medical Company) and Allergan/Advanced Medical Optics. Mr Jones has also served on various committees of the Medical Technology and Medical Industry Associations of Australia. In 2010 he completed his MBA at Southern Cross University. More recently, he held the A-dec National Sales Manager position (appointed April 2014), where he demonstrated his ability to learn quickly and develop relationships with the A-dec team, dealers and partners in W&H and Acteon. A further announcement will be made on the A-dec Sales Manager role once a replacement has been appointed.
