Adding your own events to dentevents.com is both free and easy!

The new-look Dentevents.com website that allows dental practitioners to easily search for upcoming events nationally and internationally has been interfaced to the secure Dental Community portal to allow event organisers to add and manage their own events.

"The only way for Dentevents.com to be both comprehensive and continually up-to-date is to allow event organisers to DIY," said Dentevents.com and Dental Community publisher, Joseph Allbeury. "Dentevents.com is a cool, responsive website that allows dental professionals to search for events on their PC, tablet or smartphone at any time.

"Now, by visiting the secure Dental Community website at www.dentalcommunity.com.au, anyone can add an event they are organising. There is no cost to use the Dental Community nor to add events, so we encourage everyone hosting an event, no matter how large or small, to make use of this great new resource.

"Dentevents.com is designed to help all event organisers keep the dental profession informed about the latest seminars, congresses, workshops, trade shows and the like all in one place."

Add your own events

The first step in adding your own events is to obtain your free Dental Community Username and Password by emailing info@dentist.com.au or calling (02) 9929-1900.

Registering as an Event Organiser

In order to Add Events, your Dental Community login must be linked to the "Organisation" that is organising the event and you must have "Update" priveleges for that "Organisation". The "Organisation" can be a dental practice, association, dental company, university, event organiser, etc. Hence, when you request your username and password, also request appropriate access.

Once you login, simply click "Manage Your Events", then "Add Event" and enter the basic information including the name, dates, time, etc.

Speakers and Venue for your event

When you create a new event, you can then "link" one or more speakers to it. Dentevents.com already maintains a large database of well-known international speakers as well as a list of the majority of dental practitioners in Australia and New Zealand. If you cannot find the speaker in our database, you simply add them from scratch.

You can also "link" a venue to your event. Dentevents.com already maintains a large database of popular venues in Australia and New Zealand including hotels, conference centres, dental practices and dental companies. If you cannot find the venue in our database, again, you simply add it from scratch.

300+ events and counting

At time of going to press, over 300 events had been entered on Dentevents.com, located both nationally and internationally.
