Amann Girrbach has introduced a completely continuous CAD/CAM workflow for the fabrication of full dentures up to the wax try-in for dental laboratories.
The Ceramill Mind upgrade module Ceramill D-Flow enables Ceramill CAD/CAM users to plan full dentures virtually and fabricate the try-in CAD/CAM supported. During development of the software module, Amann Girrbach always focussed on the entire workflow. Thus the software and hardware integrate seamlessly in the existing process chain and ensure that the time-consuming setting up process is shortened by approximately 60%. The digitisation of full dentures not only increases the efficiency but also provides more convenient working, for example due to the user-controlled model analysis, a basal adaptation of the teeth to the alveolar ridge at the press of a button or the automatic setting up of the teeth via the Best-Fit suggestion of the integrated tooth ranges. Setting up is implemented using conventional denture teeth of well-known manufacturers (PALA (Kulzer), Merz Dental and VITA). The final result is reproducible, functional full dentures with a high degree of aesthetics and precision.
In order to provide a flexible and future-oriented process, Amann Girrbach continuously extends the Ceramill Full Denture Workflow, not only by integrating new tooth lines, but also process solutions for the fabrication of definitive restorations. By integrating the Merz Dental Baltic Denture System into the Ceramill System, users have a promising and efficient alternative available for standardised full dentures.
