Another milestone for A-dec

Another milestone has passed during A-dec's 50th anniversary year, with 2014 also marking 30 years of A-dec's office in Australia.

A-dec Australia officially began operating from Balmain on 1 May 1984, with Keith Mentiplay, then a long time Territory Manager in the region, at the helm.

After establishing an Australian presence, A-dec soon grew and relocated to Denison Street, Camperdown and then Bowden Street, Alexandria before moving to the current Australian headquarters and warehouse location in Ricketty Street, Mascot.

Craig Young was appointed A-dec General Manager in 2006 and has had a long association with the company at both dealer level and as a former territory manager.

This is typical of A-dec, which has one of the largest networks of experienced territory managers and dealers in the Australian dental equipment industry and is one of the leading markets for A-dec outside of the USA.

A-dec is known for its contribution to the local dental industry on many levels including through the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) and its partnerships with teaching universities and of course its lasting relationships with dental customers throughout Australia.
