Borg Dental new distributor for Progeny

Borg Dental are the new exclusive distributors of Progeny x-ray equipment in Australia following the acquisition of Progeny, Inc by Midmark Corporation in March this year. The Melbourne-based equipment supplier is already the Australian distributor for Midmark's range of dental units and other products.

"We are of course excited to be able to take on the Progeny range of x-ray products exclusively," said John Borg, Managing Director of Borg Dental. "Progeny is already well-established as a leading brand in intraoral radiography in Australia and we look forward to continuing to build its brand and reputation.

Progeny took its leading position in the market quickly, having only entered the dental market in 2002. In addition to intraoral x-ray products that include the popular Preva DC and Preva Plus intraoral x-ray units, Progeny also manufactures VisionDX digital imaging sensors, intra-oral cameras and the software used to integrate these various images into a patient's electronic record.
