The Synstrat Group's Graham Middleton has penned another publication now available free of charge to practitioners entitled Buying and Selling General & Specialist Dental Practices.


The 36-page booklet offers 80 gems of wisdom and three case studies from Mr Middleton distilled from 24 years working with dentists and veterinarians, both specialists and general practitioners, in respect of business strategy, practice valuation and financial strategy. Chapters include Checklist for Preparing a Dental Practice for Sale; Sale of Dental Associateships; Buying Practices from a Purchasing Dentist's Perspective; Observations About Dental Practice Values; Sale of Dental Specialist Practices; Family Law & Dental Practice; and Practice Valuations for Partnership/Associateship Disputes/Legal Medications. Buying and Selling General & Specialist Dental Practices follows previous publications by the author entitled The Synstrat Guide to Practice Management (1995) and 50 Rules for Success as a Dentist (2004). Mr Middleton first contributed to Australasian Dental Practice in the May/June 1996 edition.
