Carestream Dental expands ortho options for CS 3600 Intraoral Scanner

Due to the high degree of accuracy of Carestream Dental's CS 3600 intraoral scanner, it has been certified by OraMetrix Inc. for use with its suresmile® technology. The open architecture and accuracy of the scanner allows practitioners to choose from a wide variety of orthodontic appliances, whether it be traditional braces systems or aligner systems.

The integration of scans captured by the CS 3600 with suresmile software opens up new digital workflow options to orthodontists for case planning, combining 3D diagnostic imaging with computerised treatment planning and robotic archwire customisation. Orthodontists can plan tooth movement on digital models and customise prescriptive archwires for more precise and efficient treatment.
