Dental Advisor awards Venus Pearl 4.5 stars

Independent US test institute "The Dental Advisor" has awarded Heraeus' light-curing, radiopaque nano-hybrid composite Venus Pearl with 4.5 out of 5 stars.

The testers were highly impressed by the creamy consistency as a complement to or substitute for the firmer Venus Diamond; easy polishability which gives an excellent polishing result in a short space of time; as well as the high radiopacity of the material. As part of the Dental Advisor Product Awards, Venus Pearl was tested by 28 US dentists in a total of 833 cases where it attai ned a clinical rating of 91 percent. The test users praised the softer consistency when compared with Venus Diamond as a useful extension of the Venus product range for dentists who prefer lower viscosity, especially for the restoration of anterior teeth. The creamy, but only marginally sticky consistency is especially suited for ultra-fine detail work and remains stable even after a prolonged working time. Venus Pearl is easy to apply and can even be used in brushing techniques. The exceptional processing characteristics make handling extremely easy and user-friendly - another major reason for the jury's award.
