Dentavision appoints national sales manager

Dentavision has continued to strengthen its ranks with the appointment of Joanne Blizzard as National Sales Manager.

“Dentavision has been expanding consistently over the past 12 months and having Joanne join will ensure that the pace of expansion will continue unabated,” said Dentavision director of sales and marketing, David Macnaughtan. “Her professionalism, enthusiasm and managerial skills will be well utilised and the potential in growth that she brings is enormous.”

Ms Blizzard joins Dentavision following a very successful 3-year period at Ivoclar Vivadent where her role as product manager for Kavo and the clinical product range enabled her to further develop her marketing skills. Prior to that, she gained valuable skills as a Territory Manager with Dentsply. Ms Blizzard is a qualified Dental Therapist and has a thorough understanding of modern dental products and techniques.

The National Sales Manager’s responsibilities will include the recruitment of new consultants, development of new markets, product management and training, managing national accounts, providing assistance to the sales team where needed and providing valuable input and assistance to national marketing campaigns and strategies.

The non-hierarchical structure allows all within the sales team to make their own decisions and this is one of the factors which I see as a major contributor to our success. Ms Blizzard will continue to work from Melbourne and will service a number of clients herself, as is the case with all Dentavision sales personnel.
