Dentavision evening exhibitions prove popular

Dental distributor Dentavision is pleased with the response to its recent series of inaugural product exhibitions in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

The late afternoon/evening exhibitions were used by the company to showcase their latest dental products to dentists around Australia.

David Macnaughtan, marketing director of Dentavision, was pleased with the support for the exhibitions shown by dentists and manufacturers.

"Because attendance figures were so good, the exhibitions will be held again next year," he said. "Holding the exhibitions between 3.00pm and 9.30pm allowed many dentists to attend who possibly would not have if they were held during the day. The exhibitions have proved to be a big success."

Mr Macnaughtan said dentists enjoyed being able to view new products from many companies like 3M, Kerr, ESPE, Dental Imagination, Kodak, Coltene Whaledent, A-dec, Prevident, Kendall, W9, etc. all under the one roof.

Respected endodontist Dr Allan S. Deutsch gave a presentation at each of the exhibitions outlining the latest procedures and products for maximising retention and minimising root fractures using active and passive posts.

"Those present at Dr Deutsch's presentation found it very enlightening," Mr Macnaughtan said. "Many who heard him speak will be looking forward to when he next returns to our shores."

There was also a number of promotions and give-aways including wine tasting, lucky door prizes and a major prize of driving a BMW Z3 Roadster for the weekend. Dr Hughes, Lower Plenty, Victoria; Dr Choo, Marsfield, NSW; and Dr Abrahams, Browns Plains were the lucky winners of the BMW prize.

Mr Macnaughtan said Dentavision would like to thank the many dentists who attended, and who combined with the various dental manufacturers ensured the evenings were informative and entertaining.
