Dentsply donates intra-oral cameras

Dentsply Australia has donated an AcuCam Concept IV intra-oral camera to the Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital/University of Melbourne School of Dental Science and the University of Western Australia Dental School.

The AcuCam Concept IV intra-oral cameras were presented to Professor Messer of the University of Melbourne School of Dental Science and to Professor McGeachie, Dean of the University of Western Australia Dental School.

Dennis O'Keeffe, vice-president and general manager of Dentsply Australia, said that the company was proud to provide financial sponsorship to teaching and research institutions in order to facilitate advances in the profession, especially in the setting of a dental school.

"The state-of-the-art AcuCam Concept IV intra-oral camera will enable improved treatment for patients, as well as educate and expose students to the latest technology," Mr O'Keeffe said.

Professor Harold Messer from the University of MelbourneSchool of Dental Science and Dr Gavan O'Connell,an endodontist with Dentsply Australia.
