Dentsply Sirona launches short contra-angle handpieces

The focus of the dental industry is increasingly turning to enhanced comfort, which applies not only to patients but also to practitioners. In order to satisfy these growing demands, Dentsply Sirona has expanded its T2 and T3 Line contra-angle handpiece ranges to include shorter versions; introducing the S-Line! The T2 S-Line and T3 S-Line are now available for purchase.

Exceptional balance for greater comfort and maximum precision

The new instruments are considerably shorter and more compact. All the contra-angle handpieces in this series stand out thanks to their titanium sleeves, pleasant grip and light weight, well-balanced positioning in the hand. Titanium not only serves to reduce the overall weight, it is also responsible for the pleasant temperature in both the practitioner's hand and the patient's mouth. The average head diameter of just 8.7 mm improves visibility and the four-jet spray from the red contra-angle handpiece is extremely quiet when in use.

All the advantages of these new contra-angle handpieces ultimately mean one thing: the practitioner can focus fully on the patient, as these instruments ensure fatigue-free working.

New shorter S-Line in the standard high quality

The familiar benefits of the T2 Line and T3 Line have been retained in the new shorter S-Line. T2 S-Line is the robust, straight and contra-angle handpiece series in the comfort class. This product series, which combines the quality and know-how of Dentsply Sirona, offers both first-class functionality and reliability. The T3 S-Line is the sustainable solution in the economy class. These instruments, with their highly-resistant titanium sleeves, are durable and an investment that will benefit the doctor for the long term. In terms of hygiene, too, these contra-angle handpieces come out on top; they can be sterilised and thermally disinfected as usual and being compatible with all common micromotors with a short coupling lug via the ISO interface. All the instruments in the T2 S-Line and T3 S-Line range are made in Germany by Dentsply Sirona's factory in Bensheim.

The T2 S-Line additionally offers optimal illumination for excellent visibility during treatment and comes with a two-year warranty.
