Drive day makes for supreme fun

When 3M ESPE decided to use the image of a Ferrari in its highly successful campaign to launch the company's new groundbreaking nanocomposite, Filtek Supreme, it backed it up by giving users a chance to win the car... to drive for a day at least!

The unique prize was a day behind the wheel of four or five elite sports cars on a journey to a well-known tourist destination. Once briefed on the idiosyncrasies of such marques as Porsche, Mustang, Lotus and Ferrari, among others, the 200km journey begins. At various stages along the way, one attention grabbing car is swapped for another. At the end of the journey, notes can be compared over a gourmet lunch. The unique, all inclusive day is guaranteed to deliver an excess of adrenalin charged fun!

The 3M ESPE Supreme Drive Day competition was held throughout February and March this year and was open to all dentists in Australia. A promotion offering a Getaway Travel Voucher was offered in New Zealand.

To enter, dentists had to participate in one of a range of Filtek Supreme promotional offers and there was a prize offered in each state, plus an overall winner from New Zealand.

While the prizes are yet to be "experienced", the winners in waiting are Dr Mary Choo, NSW; Dr Sally Su, Vic; Dr Peter Morton, Qld; Dr Christopher Hodge, SA; Dr John Hands, WA; and the winner of the Getaway travel voucher in New Zealand was Dr Stephen Treble.
