GRIN celebrates successful launch in Australia and New Zealand with growing customer base

GRIN, the innovative remote patient monitoring and care platform revolutionising orthodontics and digital oral healthcare, is reporting strong early success following its expansion into Australia and New Zealand earlier this year. The company's comprehensive system, which integrates AI-powered tools with human-centred support, has quickly gained traction among oral care professionals, enabling more efficient patient management and expanded access to treatment.

Building on the momentum from its initial announcement, GRIN's platform—including the TGA-approved Grin Scope® and Grin App—has been adopted by a growing number of practices across the region. In particular, the GRIN platform transforms orthodontic care by combining virtual monitoring, real-time communication and features such as Grin CoPilot™, Grin 3D Treatment Tracker™ and Grin RapidReferral™.

Andrew Holmes, CEO of GRIN Australia and New Zealand, highlighted the positive reception: "The launch has been incredibly successful, with a growing customer base that demonstrates the demand for our innovative solutions in the region. Practices are embracing GRIN's ability to streamline workflows, enhance patient engagement and deliver cost-effective care, allowing them to scale without compromising quality."

Mr Holmes noted that the platform's flat-fee pricing model has been a key driver of adoption. "The same reason that Uber has become a preferred method of transport over taxis is seeing practitioners choosing GRIN. Providers appreciate the predictability and value—unlimited monitoring with the Grin Scope included means they can focus on growth rather than escalating costs. We're seeing particular interest from rural and remote areas, where GRIN reduces the need for in-person visits and bridges gaps in access to specialised care."

One early adopter, Dr Vas Srinivasan of Invisible Orthodontics in Hervey Bay, Queensland, shared an update on his experience: "The AI tools combined with the support from Grin Care Specialists have made a tangible difference in efficiency and patient satisfaction".

Dr Adam Schulhof, CEO and Co-Founder of GRIN, expressed enthusiasm about the region's response: "Our entry into Australia and New Zealand was a strategic step in our global mission and the feedback has exceeded expectations. We're committed to ongoing innovation to further empower providers and patients."

GRIN's ecosystem continues to prioritise patient-first care, with the Grin App guiding users through easy at-home scans that clinicians review via a secure doctor portal. Human Grin Care Specialists act as an extension of the practice team, handling communications and escalating issues as needed, ensuring seamless virtual care whilst freeing up time in the clinic.

As GRIN expands its footprint, the company plans to introduce additional features tailored to ANZ providers. This growth aligns with broader trends in teledentistry, where remote solutions are addressing workforce shortages and improving outcomes in underserved areas.
