Gunz Dental unveils expanded team

Gunz Dental has significantly expanded its customer service arm with the appointment of eight new people to their team.

Mr Simon Koutoukidis and Mr Duane Millard have been appointed as Regional Sales Managers for the Gunz Dental Clinical Business Unit. Mr Koutoukidis is based in the Melbourne office, with responsibility for management of the Clinical Sales Teams based in Victoria, WA and SA. He comes to Gunz Dental following 10 years in national sales and operations for Essilor, a global company in the optical industry. Mr Millard is based in the Sydney head office, with responsibility for management of the Clinical Sales Teams based in NSW and Queensland. He was most recently National Marketing and Key Accounts Manager at Cenvet.

Ms Vicki Leavers has been appointed to the newly created position of Orthodontic Product Specialist and is responsible for promotion of the new Opal Orthodontics range as well as provision of technical assistance and education. Opal Orthodontics from Ultradent is available in Australia and New Zealand exclusively through Gunz Dental. Ms Leavers has worked as a dental therapist, a senior orthodontic assistant and surgery manager and most recently completed 3 years as a Territory Manager with GAC Australia.

Ms Monique Bambagiotti has joined in the role of Endodontic Product Specialist and will work alongside Gunz Dental's existing sales team, tasked with informing customers about the use of the newest materials and technologies in endodontics. Ms Bambagiotti's portfolio comprises products from leading global manufacturers including VDW, Mani, Ultradent and Premier. She has over 14 years experience in the dental industry, most recently as an area manager for companies including Neoss Australia, Sybron Implant Solutions and Nobel Biocare.

Ms Alison Thompson joined Gunz Dental's Queensland Clinical Sales Team, after relocating from New Zealand where she worked as a Dental Therapist for over 20 years before moving into sales.

Ms Pauline Leonard is the newest team member of the Gunz Dental New Zealand Clinical Sales team and joins Gunz from a sales role at Ivoclar Vivident. Ms Leonard will have responsibility for their Auckland and Northland region customers.

Ms Jocelyn Shankaran has joined the Gunz Dental Customer Service Team, based in the Sydney head office. Ms Shankaran is a qualified dental assistant.

Mr Vincent Jiang joined Gunz Dental in the newly created role of Microsoft Systems Administrator.

As part of the usual Gunz Dental induction process, all new team members have undertaken a number of weeks of product and procedural training prior to commencing. Training is conducted by Gunz Dental's National Training Manager, Dr Rouel Vergara, DMD, and is undertaken to ensure that all new team members continue the tradition of offering customers product and procedural advice that is second to none.
