HEINE Optotechnik turns 60

Optics manufacturer HEINE Optotechnik is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2007. Founder, Helmut Heine senior established a company philosophy and work ethic that still applies today: "An obligation to achieve the highest standards in manufacturing technology and independence in production".

Today, HEINE is one of the world's largest exporters of handheld diagnostic instruments, serving practically all medical fields in more than 110 countries. HEINE has created global quality standards for precision optics and diagnostic instruments over the past 60 years. A staff of more than 500 across five continents has contributed to this success. Just in time for its 60th anniversary, HEINE now presents a comprehensive, professionally made company profile consisting of a DVD film and full color booklet detailing our history and philosophies. The film, entitled "HEINE - Quality Made in Germany", won the "silver Victoria" prize for creativity at the 22nd international business film days in Vienna.
