Heraeus launches iBOND Total Etch

The new iBOND Total Etch from Heraeus is a two-step bonding system that perfectly matches all desires of a dentist. The new adhesive from Heraeus provides effective adhesion, reliable desensitisation and is extremely user-friendly, meeting all practical requirements for 5th generation bonding systems.

Application of the etch and rinse two-step bonding system is safe and convenient. After etching with iBOND Etch, iBOND Total Etch is applied with only one coat, without any need for agitation. The effective bonding of the adhesive and tooth surface is easily detectable through a glossy surface. In addition to nano fillers, iBOND Total Etch contains reactive polymers which increase the consistency of the new bonding material. As a result, an homogeneous, glossy and easily visible adhesive film forms on the dentine and enamel. This provides the basis for an ideal marginal adaptation, high bonding strength and long-lasting restorations.

iBOND Total Etch has been tested by more than a hundred dentists in clinical studies across Europe. 96% of the dentists found that it was easy to handle, 75% prefer the new two-step adhesive system from Heraeus to comparable products and 87% would recommend it to their colleagues.
