Inline donates portable x-ray

Inline Systems and its international suppliers have collaborated to donate a portable x-ray solution to a new initiative to deliver dental care to Sydney's homeless and at-risk.

Just Enough Faith was established by former restaurateur Jeff Gambin and his wife Alina and together with a small team of volunteers, feeds Sydney's growing hordes of homeless people. Mr Gambin has subsequently enlisted the help of the dental profession to establish a 3-chair dental facility located in Rozelle that utilizes donated equipment and volunteers from the dental community.

"Just Enough Faith is a very worthwhile project and one where we were happy to become involved," said Mike Harman, Managing Director of Inline Systems. "We received a requested to consider donating an intraoral x-ray imaging solution to the project and contacted our overseas suppliers for assistance. Aribex in the US, who manufacture the Nomad portable handheld x-ray unit; Owandy who manufacture the digital x-ray sensor system we market; and DentalEye, who develop the imaging software we distribute, all donated products to the initiative. We will then provide ongoing training and support following installation."

In addition to serving meals and funding homes and jobs, Just Enough Faith also runs a 25-acre farm outside of Sydney with the assistance of volunteers and former homeless people who now have a purpose in life helping others.
