Ivoclar Vivadent appoints new Marketing Manager

Ivoclar Vivadent has appointed Mr Dennis Urbancic to the role of Marketing Manager.

The focus of this position is to implement the marketing strategy and activities planned for the next few years and to increase sales by maximising the organisation's product offering to customers. When inviting applications for this important role, the Ivoclar Vivadent board made a conscious decision to employ a suitably qualified person from outside the dental industry. "We were keen to introduce new ideas and knowledge," explained Peter Lobo, Executive Manager, Ivoclar Vivadent. "Dennis is an ideal fit for the job and brings with him a tremendous amount of product management experience." The board believes that Mr Urbancic will help the organisation to develop a better understanding of complex marketing fundamentals, as specialist knowledge is required to tap and harness the company's energies effectively. Mr Urbancic comes to Ivoclar Vivadent with a tertiary qualification in marketing and science and a medical/laboratory background. He hopes to improve the organisation's effectiveness in dealing with customers by focusing the sales effort to ensure that products meet and exceed customers' needs and expectations. "This is the only way we can achieve our goal of total customer satisfaction," Mr Urbancic said. "And what's good for the customer is fundamentally good for the business." Mr Urbancic is also keen to promote the advantages of dealing with an established, innovative global manufacturer and retailer. "This is definitely the starting point to achieving our vision of adding customer value to all our dealings," he said.
