Ivoclar Vivadent appoints new national sales manager

Ivoclar Vivadent has appointed Mr Geoff Staples as its National Sales Manager.

Mr Staples has been part of the dental profession since 1986 were he initially completed his dental assistant and technician qualifications with the Australian Army. He started his civilian career as a laboratory specialist with Halas Dental in Adelaide before relocating to Brisbane. After completing a Graduate Certificate of Business Administration in 2007, Mr Staples accepted the position of Account Development Manager for CAD/CAM with Ivoclar Vivadent in January 2008. He is well known in the dental industry for his knowledge in CAD/CAM technology having been involved in the Australasian market since Cerec 1 in 1994 and frequently runs professional development courses as well as lecturing locally and internationally at various universities, dental schools and symposiums. With a career that has seen him cover all aspects of dentistry, from clinical and laboratory applications, he understands how to partner the professional in growing their business. As the position of National Sales Manager operates out of Head Office, Geoff will be relocating to Melbourne in early 2010.
