Dental Axess is presenting a full day practical workshop designed to master the principles of using the 3Shape TRIOS® intraoral scanner for orthodontics. TRIOS for Orthodontics includes industry leading intraoral scanning for RealColor™, accurate and user friendly full-arch digital impressions along with orthodontic analysis and treatment planning software.

This hands-on workshop will provide participants with step-by-step digital workflows for patient diagnosis, treatment planning and model archiving.

Topics at a glance include:

• Digital archiving of cases - learn how to organise and access cases digitally and eliminate analogue models;
• Complete case analysis using the Ortho Analyser toolkit - including combining CBCT scans with digital models, 2D image overlays and full analysis report function;
• Treatment plan accurately in 3D – simulate orthodontic treatments, optimise occlusion in real time and customise treatment plans;
• Treatment monitoring; and
• Communication and case presentation.

The workshop is presented by Mr Ari Sciacca, the owner of Archform and Digital Orthodontics in Australia. Archform and Digital Orthodontics is at the leading edge of orthodontic technology and serves orthodontists around the world. Mr Sciacca has had a keen interest in digital technologies and has used them in his laboratory for more than 12 years. Today he uses 3D scanners, 3D printers and various orthodontic software. He lectures extensively locally and internationally on digital workflows for the orthodontic specialist segment.
