ANZ has released its new multiPOS Turbo terminal designed with professional services organizations in mind. The terminal has a host of capabilities and additional functionality that can assist professionals to enhance their business cash flow.
In terms of speed, the multiPOS Turbo is one of the most powerful EftPOS terminals currently available worldwide. Processing speeds are up to 20 per cent faster than ANZ's previous groundbreaking EftPOS solution.
multiPOS Turbo accepts all Australian debit cards and all major Australian and international credit cards and charge cards including Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, American Express, Diners and JCB.
Business cash flow can also be enhanced with the multiPOS Turbo terminal allowing businesses to implement periodic or progress payment plans. The ANZ multiPOS Turbo terminal has inbuilt facilities to process periodical payments, mail order, telephone order and electronic commerce transactions. To process a periodical payment, the business simply enters the credit card number and the amount of the instalment into the terminal, and then selects the instalment option when processing the transaction. This will then appropriately identify the transaction as an instalment/periodic payment to the issuing bank of the credit card.
In addition, the TeleCheck cheque verification service is another option. When you accept a cheque as payment, you simply enter the cheque details, including the amount, account number and cheque number into the terminal. The terminal will then dial directly through to TeleCheck and TeleCheck will provide either an 'approve' or 'decline' recommendation for the cheque based on advanced scoring technologies. Once a cheque has received an 'approve' recommendation, it is guaranteed up to the predetermined warranty limit set out in the product disclosure statement (currently $3000).
