New Aseptico AMC-20 self-contained mobile dental unit: Just add power!

Wisbey Dental has launched the US-made Aseptico AMC-20 mobile operatory onto the Australian market and according to MD Greg Wisbey, the units are literally rolling out the door.

"The Aseptico AMC-20 is a fully self-contained mobile dental unit," Mr Wisbey said. "You simply plug it into the power and start working. No plumbing is required - it has self-contained air, water, suction and waste - and the unit is fully featured with high- and low-speed handpieces, scalers, a triplex syringe and a full range of options and accessories to select from."

Mr Wisbey, a major supplier of Aseptico portable dental equipment to the military, government and humanitarian missions, stressed that the new AMC-20 performs like your traditional dental unit, not a portable system designed to be used under field conditions.

"The Aseptico AMC-20 is a stand-out unit because it has overcome two major obstacles: compressor noise and vacuum strength," he said. "The self-contained unit operates quietly and powerfully enough to operate multiple handpieces with ease, while also providing high volume saliva ejector suction comparable to plumbed operatories. These carts can also be upgraded with fiber optics, electric handpieces, curing lights, piezoelectric scalers and even amalgam separators for responsible waste management.

"Our customers are finding a range of uses for this versatile product. Some have spare rooms in their practices that they want to use but plumbing is impractical or impossible. Others see its applications for use in hospitals, medical centres, schools, nursing homes, in mobile vans and elsewhere. Aseptico's AMC-20 offers more built-in personalization than your standard delivery system. Custom-built to your specifications, the AMC-20 can feature an electric handpiece connection, scaler, curing light, fiber optic connections, an amalgam separator, auxiliary working trays and even dual voltage. The basic version includes a three-way air/water syringe, two high-speed connections, one low-speed connection, high volume vacuum and saliva ejector suction.
