New ATLANTIS Conus Abutments

New Products

Atlantis from Dentsply Implants offers outstanding freedom of choice in cement-, screw- and attachment-retained restorations, fulfilling every patient's requirements for aesthetics and functionality. Dentsply Implants have introduced an additional solution for partial or completely edentulous patients. The new Atlantis™ Conus Abutment that is now available for multiple implant systems.

Atlantis Conus Abutment (over-denture) is for removable over-dentures attached using Ankylos SynCone caps retained with a friction fit that makes the over-denture completely implant bourne.

These parallel, one-size abutment cores are for removable prostheses and are recommended for full arch over-denture restorations. They are milled to fit Ankylos SynCone caps which are ordered separately. The position of the abutments will be in relation to the space needed for the final restoration and a diagnostic tooth set-up is always required. Abutments will be placed with the margin levels as close to soft tissue level as possible.

Atlantis Conus Abutment (custom) is for removable bridges/over-dentures with more individual design options. They are parallel, individualised abutments mainly for removable bridge constructions. These are a more individualised type of abutment than the over-denture abutments and will therefore not have a pre-set shape; so will require a customised gold cap.

The new Conus Abutment option eliminates time spent on wax-up, casting and modifying procedures and means there is no need for precious metals. It provides direct application of porcelain and/or composite and is a simpler restorative procedure.
