New Companion App lets Septodont products come to life

Septodont has unveiled its new Companion app, a new mobile app dedicated to dental practitioners. Available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, it aims at offering Septodont's customers an upgraded experience of the company's products and services using "packaging recognition" and the latest in augmented reality.

After downloading the app, you will be invited to scan a Septodont product box through the camera of your phone or tablet. This is where the experience starts: thanks to packaging recognition technology, the product is identified and related information is pushed in augmented reality onto your screen. Among other things, you can find how-to videos, clinical cases and testimonials from your peers. What's more, you can easily get in touch with Septodont directly from the product page you are consulting.

If you don't have a product box yet or are waiting for your delivery to arrive, you can still select the product name from the list in the app and gain access to all the related content.

The App contains information tailored to the home country of the Septodont customer and is slowly being rolled out globally.
