New find-a-dentist website for NZ at www.dentist.co.nz

New Zealanders will soon have a great new way to find-a-dentist online with the imminent launch of www.dentist.co.nz. Developed by the publishers of Australasian Dental Practice magazine and initially based on our extensive mailing list for delivery of the magazine in New Zealand, it is hoped that the website will quickly become indispensable to the public looking for a dentist.

"We've been planning to launch www.dentist.co.nz for some time now and finally it is happening," said Joseph Allbeury, publisher of the website and this magazine. "We have recently completed an upgrade of our technology platforms and this has made it far simpler to create new websites like this one that draw from our CRM system backend.

"As a precursor to the launch, we have been going through our mailing list and checking everything against people's websites and with other online sources to ensure we will be as accurate as possible. However, we ask New Zealand dentists to bear with us in the early stages and contact us if anything is wrong with their information.

"Everyone can have a free login that allows them to change their information at will or we can do it for them."

Mr Allbeury said that www.dentist.co.nz was based on the immensely successful www.dentist.com.au website that has been running in Australia since 1997.

"www.dentist.com.au has been a huge success in Australia," he said. "The site is now searched more than a million times a year by the Australian public looking for dentists and it is becoming more and more popular. There are hardly any websites committed to such a high level of accuracy of their information and most rely on automated robots to copy information from other people's websites. Instead, we 'hand-craft' our information and keep it continually updated."
