New KaVo MASTERtorque 9000 turbine

Leading German dental equipment manufacturer KaVo has released the MASTERtorque 9000 top-end turbine, replacing the hugely successful GENTLESilence 8000. The new delivers a unique combination of New Direct Stop Technology – DST, increased power and improved operating comfort.

Direct Stop Technology

Thanks to new Direct Stop Technology (DST), the NEW KaVo MASTERtorque M9000L reduces stopping time by 60% over conventional turbines and stops the bur in under a second. This helps reduce the danger of injuring the patient, promoting more relaxed working conditions as work can re-commence immediately after lifting the bur. This is perfect for inspecting the prep. and for bur replacement.

No suck back - zero retraction

A combination of the Direct Stop Technology and a new Anti Reflux System prevents "suck back" of aerosols and particles into the handpiece bearings. This not only improves hygiene, it also provides a longer service life.

23 Watts for maximum power

The KaVo MASTERtorque M9000L delivers 23 watts of peak power, providing approximately 20% more torque* compared to the GENTLESilence 8000B. Its stable operating speed and high torque all the way through to the highest power level allows for the optimum precision.

Whisper quiet 57 dB

The KaVo MASTERtorque M9000L combines proven KaVo Silence Technology with further frequency optimization to offer the optimal conditions for quiet and comfortable preparation work, even at full speed and during turbine rundown.

Excellent visibility

KaVo MASTERtorque's compact and ergonomic design together with KaVo's unique lighting concept creates excellent visibility at the preparation site. This is achieved via a reduced head diameter on the bur side (Head height of only 13.1mm), a smaller head tapered towards the bur with an improved viewing angle of 27°, plus the patented KaVo 100°/19° head/knee angle combination. Preparation sites are optimally illuminated through offset spray and light exit points, further enhanced when used in conjunction with the industry leading KaVo MULTIFlex LED lighting solution.
