Nobel Biocare announces World Tour program for Australia

Nobel Biocare has announced the program for their World Tour 2006 event in Sydney August 2-4, 2006. The ninth stop in the series of 17 conferences around the world will bring together world-leading experts in implant and aesthetic dentistry, local experts and conference attendees to share their knowledge in state-of-the-art patient treatments.


The local chairman for the Nobel Guide World Tour conference in Sydney is Dr Patrick Henry, a well known specialist prosthodontist with Professorial and Research Fellowship appointments at several universities and a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration.

Live cases will be transmitted via satellite featuring implant surgeries and aesthetic restorations. They will demonstrate the latest preferred patient treatment options. The pre-conference program also incorporates topics of special interest for Australia and hands-on training for all levels of dental professionals.

  • Natural tooth and implant solutions using C&B&I™ presented by Dr Christopher Ho;

  • Implant solution for the edentulous jaw using Teeth-in-an-Hour™ presented by Dr Glen Liddelow.

Nobel Biocare will also present the latest research and clinical findings.

  • Immediate Function™ and TiUnite® presented by Dr Peter Schüpbach;
  • The long-span Procera® Zirconia bridge for missing and natural teeth presented by Dr Eric van Dooren;
  • New abutment designs presented by Dr Bernard Touati;
  • One-piece ceramic implant presented by Dr Ralf Kohal; and
  • rhBMP-2 by Dr Giuseppe Polimeni.

Nobel Biocare will also present the latest research and clinical findings from its pipeline of products and solutions.
