Oasis Software expands after record year

Leading Australian Practice Management software provider Oasis Software has expanded its business development, consultancy and customer service capabilities with the recent employment of two new staff members.

Ms Tracy Penn has now joined the Oasis team on a full-time basis and will focus her time on Victorian sales, national business development activities and the expansion of consultancy services to the customer base throughout Australia. Mr Brent Corneille, who has joined the expanding Oasis national support centre based in Melbourne, holds an Advanced Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering and brings with him extensive customer support and network administration expertise. According to the company, this expansion comes as a result of the significant sales growth in 2006, which saw new unit sales of both Oasis software and EXACT increase by 28% from the previous year. "Factors behind the result have been the increased focus on product innovation, re-energising the distribution channel and an increasing focus on improved customer service," said Mike Engle, General Manager of Software of Excellence. "With a total of over 1500 sites, we are now the clear leader in the Australian market."
