Piksters and Lah-Lah team up to encourage kids to brush

Piksters, Australia's #1 brand of interdental brushes and many leading oral care products, are partnering with popular children's music group Lah-Lah to encourage children to brush their teeth.

Due to the increasingly high sugar intake, dental decay is rife in Australian kids' teeth. Studies have found that dental decay is now the most prevalent oral disease in Australian children, with one third of children aged between 5 and 6 years old with decay in their baby teeth.1

Both Piksters and Lah-Lah are trusted family brands and, through this partnership, aim to bring awareness of good dental hygiene for young families with fun music and video. Lah-Lah's 10th Birthday Party national tour will play to over 30,000 families this year, featuring their hit song Brush Your Teeth. Ten years on and this is still their most requested song. As a way of engaging and reaching more families outside of the tour dates, a social media campaign of videos, outtakes and competitions will run until year end.

Lah-Lah's strong social media following of over 20,000 and a weekly engagement of 55,000+ will feature Piksters Plaque Glo - a fun and innovative new toothpaste and torch system which kids love.

Piksters, a 21-year-old Australian company, is owned by former dentist Dr Craig Erskine-Smith.

Best known for Australia's #1 selling indertental brush, Piksters develop and manufacture many oral care products for dental professionals and consumers, which are sold around the world.

Lah-Lah is a popular five member children's music group from Sydney, Australia. They have been seen on ABC KIDS, CBeebies, 7TWO, Stan and Nick Jr, recorded albums and also perform live shows. Tina Harris is a trusted Mum Influencer and the much-loved band Lah-Lah has a national following.
