Preparations underway for IDEM Singapore 2012

Advances and Controversies is the theme for the scientific conference at the 7th IDEM Singapore exhibition and meeting to be staged at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre, April 20-22, 2012.

An array of world class presenters from the US and Europe headline the program that will present insight into the ever-advancing changes in dentistry.

The multi-stream program will offer delegates the chance to hear a variety of speakers deliver presentations in one room or participate in intensive all-day programs in another.

On April 21, for example, Dennis Tarnow, Clinical Professor of Periodontology and Director of Implant Education at Columbia School of Dental Medicine will present one of the all day programs on Immediate vs Delayed Socket Placement and The Interdental Papilla Dilemma.

On April 22, Urs Belser (Professor and Head of the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and Occlusion of the University of Geneva School of Dental Medicine), Michel Magne (Associate Professor at the University of Southern California and Chair of Esthetic Dentistry) and Pascal Magne (Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry and Director of the Center of Dental Technology at the University of Southern California) will present an all day Update on Reconstructive Dentistry With Special Emphasis on the Rehabilitation of the Compromised Anterior Dentition.

Limited attendance hands-on workshops will also be held.

Subjects covered by the conference range from implants and aesthetics to endo- and orthodontics.

A relatively short flight from Australia and New Zealand, Singapore is an ideal conference venue.
