In late January, Australia's own Prime Practice introduced their Leadership Programme to the first intake of clients at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) in Las Vegas, USA.
"Although there are a large number of practice management consultancies in the United States, our programme has found itself in a league of its own due to it's unique three component system," explained Dr Michael Sernik, a director of Prime Practice.
"Our innovative program uses workshops to deliver systems and communication techniques with regular coaching to enhance the implementation of these techniques.
"The material and information is stellar and when you add that with coaching… it is an unbeatable combination," said programme participant Dr Brad Durham. "They take time to look at your goals, help you refine them, given you a plan, teach you how to achieve monthly along the way. All I have to do is show up, make some effort, learn some new tricks and I win- big time!"
"I doubt there is a management/coaching/ leadership program anywhere on any continent that is as complete as this one," said Dr Ted Murray. "These folks cover it all - personal and professional. This isn't just about having the LVI style practice. This is about being the best person you can be, being the best dentist, the best manager and the best boss. Something really amazing happened and I feel so fortunate to have made the difficult decision to be part of it and to commit to it."
