Removable prosthodontic alternative to implants

Dentists and patients can now have an aesthetic, stable solution for edentulous areas without the need for surgical procedures.

The Mini-SG® System paves the way in the next generation of reconstruction of the dentition using removable prosthodontics. The aesthetics are exceptional with no clasps or margins showing. Stability is based on Swiss watch technology with micromechanical parts: the female is attached to the denture and the male is fixed to the residual dentition and always stays the same. These attachments provide a strong connection and offer versatility with the selection of six female components giving way to six different restorative solutions. This equates to a cost-effective means of providing for the patient's changing needs throughout their life with a simple change of the female component.

The denture fixation is based on the female component through friction-grip and latch retention. If a patient is reporting reduced dexterity with difficulties opening the latch, the dentist can exchange the latch female part with a friction-grip female part. The residual dentition stays the same and the denture stays the same with only the female part undergoing change. It is a win-win situation. Even more appealing to the patient is the unique construction of the Mini-SG System designed to avoid food-impaction.

The Mini-SG System is constructed of pure titanium and precious metal alloys that are resistant to corrosion and are biocompatible. Each material is documented with a certificate of biocompatibility for quality assurance to even the most sensitive patients. The basics for the Mini-SG System were introduced at the beginning of 1980 and today, more than 250,000 patients smile and eat happily with this intelligent system.

Precious Dental Alloys brings the Mini-SG System solution to dentists and dental technicians complete with full training on a CD-ROM handbook. The CD-ROM is available for preview of the step by step working procedure through treatment up to recall for $11.00 including GST. The 370 illustrations, narration, film and 3D animations will show you the simplicity of this system.
