Round Table Innovation: Dental Implants at the Forefront - 2014 and Beyond

World renowned clinician Ray Williams will be moderating IDEM Singapore's first ever round table symposium entitled "Dental Implants at the Forefront - 2014 and Beyond" at IDEM Singapore 2014.

The advances in the diagnosis and treatment of dental diseases have been extraordinary over the past 20 years. Of particular note are the advances in the use of dental implants to replace missing teeth. New developments in implant design, implant surfaces, surgical protocols and restorative techniques have greatly extended our ability to treat patients and these continue to evolve daily.

The Round Table symposium at IDEM Singapore 2014 will see Ray Williams joined by three international experts:

• Dean Morton, USA, Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral Health and Rehabilitation at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry;
• Will Martin, USA, Clinical Associate Professor in the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Prosthodontics at the University of Florida's College of Dentistry; and
• Dr Chatchai Kunavisarut, Thailand, currently ITI Co-ordinator and the Assisting Program Director at Mahidol University, Thailand.

The panel will examine the current understanding about implants in the aesthetic zone, immediate implant placement and loading and management of implant complications.

The audience will have the opportunity to join in the discussion by asking questions and sharing opinions with the expert panel.
