SciCan introduces new concept

The new Statim 8000B Vacuum Cassette Autoclave features new sealed sterilisation cassettes that allow instruments to be stored following sterilisation.

The latest addition to the popular Statim range of autoclaves includes the popular Class B cycle and allows the sealed cassettes to be stored post sterilisation and then delivered chairside when required.

Tested for up to six weeks, the removable cassettes act both as the sterilisation chamber and as a rigid sterile container for storing sterilised instruments over extended periods. Multiple cassettes provide unmatched versatility in instrument management, can be labelled with batch and steam process indicators and custom-fit instrument baskets are available.

The Statim 8000B has a cycle for every load with four completely validated B cycles for Solid, Porous and Double Wrapped loads, as well as three N cycles for Solid Unwrapped Loads.

The workhorse Hollow A cycle, for example, can sterilise expensive and delicate instruments in 13 to 14 minutes.

The autoclave features an easy to use touch pad control with a digital display and includes an in-built printer.

No special wiring or plumbing is required, just plug it in and go. This makes the Statim 8000B the ideal match to meet the sterilisation needs' of today's fast paced dental facility.
