The search for a sensitive dentist

Colgate is continuing its search for the most sensitive dentists and hygienists in Australia and New Zealand as part of its ongoing promotional campaign for Colgate Sensitive toothpaste.

Colgate is asking patients to write and tell them in 20 words or less what makes their dentist or hygienist sensitive. Judges will select the six best entries - one per region for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory; one for Queensland; Victoria and Tasmania; South Australia and the Northern Territory; Western Australia; and New Zealand. Practices have been sent sample packs of Colgate Sensitive together with entry forms for their patients to complete. Patients who participate have the chance to win a great prize in the form of an Apple iPod Video to the value of $500 if their entry is one of the six chosen. Equally, the dentist or hygienist who wins in each region will, together with their staff, be wined and dined to the tune of $1,000 by their Colgate Territory Manager. Practitioners are thus encouraged to ensure they hand patients an entry form at the same time as their free sample of Colgate Sensitive to encourage as many patients as possible to participate.
