US-study proves optimal polishability of new material

According to an independent study titled Gloss of Provisional Materials Polished with Two Different Systems by the University of Texas, VOCO's Structur Premium is the temporary crown and bridge material with the best polishability.

The US researchers compared Structur Premium to two market leading C&B materials with regards to polishability. The scientists used two different polishing systems in their comparison: Pogo (Dentsply) and Soflex (3M ESPE). Structur Premium temporaries polished with Pogo polishers showed gloss properties exceeding those of competing products by approximately 30%. When using Sof-lex polishers, Structur Premium also showed significantly higher gloss than competing products.

"We have managed, with our ingenious material composition, to make high strength and brilliant gloss a reality," said Marc Banzer, Managing Director of VOCO Australia. "Demanding aesthetics and high stability in provisional crowns and bridges are no longer just a dream".
