W&H Synea sets new record

The latest W&H Synea LS WA-99LT 1:5 speed increasing handpiece has set a new endurance record in benchmark European tests being the only handpiece to perform for well over 1000 hours without failure.

In a test conducted by the Competence Centre for Tribology at AC2T research GmbH, the W&H Synea LS WA-99LT was run for more than 1240 hours during which time it demonstrated constant precision and performance.

To mark the achievement, W&H and A-dec Australia are backing all Synea LS models with a 2-year warranty and the peace of mind of many years' reliable use.

A-dec Australia's W&H product manager, James Rosborough, said the secret to the high performance of the unit was the unique W&H DuraSys drive technology which combines a precision gear unit with ceramic bearings - a new addition to the W&H Synea LS range.
