Zfx Australia and Dental Axess have announced a partnership to bring premium quality, locally-based milling to Dental Axess 3Shape scanner users in Australia and New Zealand. The partnership will enable the immediate and seamless integration between 3Shape users and the Zfx milling system through a certified interface.
"The relationship was spawned through the common passion and goal that Dental Axess and Zfx Australia both share in providing a quality product and unrivalled aftermarket support to their customers," said Dental Axess Director Belinda Muggleton.
"As an independent distributor for 3Shape scanner systems, Dental Axess is well placed to support their 3Shape customers in the market, connecting laboratories to an increasing range of milling options.
"It is their ultimate goal to provide their customers with an unbiased, independent and open platform system offering unsurpassed levels of choice and flexibility. Coupled with Zfx Australia's purpose built, state-of-the-art milling facility in the heart of Sydney, all Dental Axess 3Shape users throughout Australia and New Zealand will now have ready access to high quality, locally based production ensuring quick, reliable turnaround times and high levels of personalized service."
The Zfx milling system originated in Germany and has over 10 years of research, development and milling experience behind it. All the milling systems and technologies currently used by Zfx in their milling centres across the world have been developed in-house by Zfx's R&D centres in Munich and northern Italy.
The systems have been developed using only the highest quality German materials and equipment, utilizing a brand new, purpose built DMG Ultrasonic 20 milling machine developed and customized specifically for Zfx. With a dozen Zfx centres already in operation, the Zfx milling system is currently one of the fastest growing open platform CAD/CAM systems in the world.
