Zirconia from the Dolomites: Prettau 3 Dispersive with Gradual-Triplex Technology. For the patients you value

Prettau Dispersive zirconia materials - Provided by the South Tyrolean company Zirkonzahn - are already provided with a gentle and natural colour shading during the manufacturing process thanks to a smooth, dispersive shade transition.

With Gradual-Triplex-Technology, a triple gradient for the new Prettau® 3 Dispersive® zirconia has been developed: indeed, in addition to the smooth colouring gradient, also translucency and flexural strength levels change. Whereas the incisally increasing translucency results in a highly translucent incisal edge, the cervically increasing flexural strength results in an extremely high flexural strength at the tooth neck. Accordingly, Prettau 3 Dispersive can be used for all kinds of zirconia restorations, although it is particularly suitable for monolithic rehabilitations.

For a final prosthesis with that colour matches with the patient's natural tooth, a special shade guide is available. Zirkonzahn Shade Guide Prettau Line is composed of monolithic zirconia sample teeth and exist in the shape of a premolar as well as upper and lower incisors (also with minimal cutback for individual characterisation). If the material of the shade guide used and the material of the zirconia crown are identical, the colour of the zirconia restoration corresponds 1:1 with the natural tooth colour of the patient.
